CORRINE HUFFMISS OHIO 1960
|Originally a runner-up for Miss Ohio title, 19 year old Corrine Huff of Youngstown, replaced the winner, Kathy Justice who, it was discovered, failed to meet the 18-year minimum age requirement. Corrine arrived in Florida to become the first African-American to compete for the titles of 'Miss U.S.A.' and 'Miss Universe'.
